Petrea is a registered Art Therapist who has been working in the field of Art Therapy since 1994.
This workshop explores the use of puppet making and spontaneous drama techniques in a therapeutic setting. The model used by Petrea will be transferable to work with children and adults who struggle with issues of body image, sense of self and control.
The psychology of puppeteering; the use of drama in an Art Therapy context; the stages of puppet making with groups and individuals; the results of using this medium with children; the opportunity to make your own puppet (participants are encouraged to bring personal/ found objects, i.e., jewelry, material). Basic supplies provided.
